Today was one of those days that I started thinking of my passed Naruto OC Characters. I thought of my new ones, my old ones, and even some I have yet to use in a story. While daydreaming about them and there adventures in the Naruto universe, I couldn’t help but wonder what would happen if they all met? Of course, some of my OCs are so old, I have yet to remember their names. Some even have the same names, because I had deleted stories and reused characters. This story developed in my head; morphing into a skit including my own Naruto characters, some of my original Naruto characters, and even myself. I hope you enjoy!
(A/N: My name is Kayla just so you don’t get confused lol and also, the whole story is written in 3rd Person POV)
Kayla watched the announcer on the stage. He was the one going to announce her presence to the world; to everyone who cared to listen. His lips moved quickly, inches away from the mike and she couldn’t help but allow a blush to linger on her cheeks as she watched him. This man had been on of the few people she’d fallen hard for in this world; his blonde locks, bluish eyes and cocky attitude. The young girl smirked to herself and turned away from the man announcing her on the stage. “Y’all are probably thinking I’m talking about Naru-kun…” Kayla muttered, a grin now lingering on her lips. “When in realty, I’m talking about the amazing Akatsuki member, Dei-kun!” Out of all the guys in the show, her favorite was most definitely Deidara. Ever since his appearance on the show, she felt for him; especially his art. Seeing him blowing things up, the colors that decorated the skies when his art detonated, she loved it all. Someone tapped on her shoulder and she spun around, meeting a pair of dark eyes. However, what really stood out was the male’s hair that spiked out in the back. A grin formed on Kayla’s lips once again.
“Tori-atama!” she cheered, staring at Sasuke who was now scowling at her. “Oh, don’t look at me like that; you know I love you.” She stuck her tongue out at the Uchiha, returning his scowl. He sighed and just grunted; knowing that this girl would never be an obsessive fan girl type toward him. She liked Deidara too much for that. However, what the Uchiha didn’t know is that Kayla had liked Sasuke way before Deidara, but he has been dropped down to 2nd place after he left the village for Orochimaru and Deidara came on air.
“Are you sure this is a good idea?” Sasuke mumbled, turning away to watch as Tobi skipped onto stage and was now distracting Deidara from his new job. Kayla thought intently while pulling a piece of strawberry pocky out of a box that randomly appeared in front of her. This could start a catastrophe… she thought, taking a bite of the strawberry goodness. Knowing the characters I have created over the years… She shrugged her shoulders, finishing the candy.
“I think it’s brilliant,” Kayla answered, nodding her head. “However…” she paused, sending him a warning look. “I don’t think this will be good for your safety so it’d probably would be best if you hid…” She peered around before grabbing his wrist and pulling him around backstage. He was silent behind her. “I haven’t the slightest clue, but I would look for a hiding spot okay?” Sasuke nodded at her and left her to go back to watching her senpai fight with Tobi and giggled at the comedy.
“Tobi-kun!” Deidara yelled, frustrated with the newest addition to Akatsuki. “Get off the stage or I’m sending Hidan-kun in here to teach you a lesson!” Hidan instantly appeared next to Kayla and groaned; staring at her now slightly frightened appearance.
“What the f**k does he want me to do about it?!” Hidan shouted in her face as she shook in fear. She gulped and raised her shoulders to show that she too was confused. From the stage, Tobi and Deidara turned to look at them. Tobi waved frantically at his young friend.
“Hi Kayla-chan!” Tobi yelled, running off stage toward her. “This is so exciting! I can’t wait to see everybody!” She grinned and nodded.
“Me too!” Kayla cheered, high fiving her friend before Hidan dragged Tobi away to who knows where while he screamed for her to help him. She was about to help the Akatsuki member, however Hidan sent her a frightening look and decided against it. She spun around to look at Deidara who was awaiting her approval to continuing and she sent him a thumb up. He grinned and turned back to the crowd.
“Now, without further ado, I would like to present to you all Kayla-chan!” There was some clapping ringing in Kayla’s ears as she skipped out to meet her beloved Deidara. She embraced him in a warm hug and could feel the mouths on his hands on her arms. It took all she had to not let a giggle out of her mouth. Before she knew it, they were waving at each other and Deidara walked off stage; leaving her alone in the middle. She cleared her throat uneasily before jumping back into her usual happiness.
“Ohayo minna!” she called to the audience, waving at everyone. “It’s awesome to be here! Just as Deidara-senpai explained, I’m going to bring in all of my own Naruto characters to finally meet in person. Before this day, none of them knew of the others existence, but now they will all come face to face and not only meet my other creations, but also…hopefully…befriend each other!” The last part was a prayer more than anything. She gulped, before spinning around to sit at her desk in the corner of the stage. She cleared her throat again before speaking. “Now! I would like to, in no particular order, introduce you to my characters!”
After finishing my sentence, the first girl came out. She had long brownish-blond hair that reached to about her mid-back. Her eyes had shown a magnificent blue that glittered like the ocean in the sun. Her skin was pale from lack of being outdoors and gave a sickly appearance to her features. Everything about her was petite from her small feet to her tiny feet to her height of only five feet. She adorned a white button-up shirt over a fishnet shirt and wore dark leggings as pants. On her feet were wooden sandals that matched the ones Jiraiya wore. Her steps were slow and she seemed to limp as she walked. Instantly, Kayla knew this to be one of her newer characters, Miki Yamato. The girl paused at the end of the stage and looked out at everyone, sending everyone a timid wave.
“Hello!” she said in a gentle voice. “My name is Yamato Miki-san!” She bowed her head respectfully and spun around to look at me. “Thank you for allowing me to come here today, Kayla-sama!” She bowed her head again while the next girl walked out on stage.
The next girl had a similar appearance to Miki; same fragile features and light brown hair. However, this girl had much more color on her skin that made her glow in comparison to Miki. Her hair was also much shorter and her eyes were tinted a chocolaty brown. When standing straight up, she was around five feet and five inches. She wore a red V-neck shirt over a pure white long sleeve shirt with dark jeans and brightly colored flip flops. Her strides were much quicker than Miki’s and Kayla recognized her as her most well known character, Moku Kotori of her Konoha High School, and soon to be sequel. The girl smiled kindly at everyone and waved her hand up in the air.
“Ohayo minna!” she yelled, acting more like Naruto than herself. Kayla chuckled; she must be nervous. “It’s a pleasure to be here and meet everyone!” Moku finally took notice of the much tinier girl and smiled at her. However, before she could say anything to Miki, Kayla yelled out, “Not yet! Wait for everyone else!” Moku pursed her lips, but followed her creators command. Kayla had been lucky she had created a few characters that weren’t very stubborn. However, some of her older characters might pose as a pain…
Three girls then entered the stage from the right side where I had come. All three were from the same story, so Kayla decided to allow it. The first girl, the obvious leader, appeared to be a much healthier and stronger version of Miki; same tininess, same light brown hair, same everything. The only thing separating her was her confident stride, her head held high, and her clothing adorned of a pale blue dress, a red ribbon in her hair, and she wore more formal, white shoes. This girl was Sorano Yamato. Behind her was a girl unlike the rest in almost ever field. Her hair put into two messy pigtails was as black as the night sky as was her eyes. She stood around the same height as Moku; maybe an inch shorter. She wore a leather jacket over a brown camisole and a leather skirt with white tights and the usual blue ninja shoes on her feet. A book was held open in her right hand; reading each page carefully. Kayla grinned; this had been one of her favorite OC to write about; she was much like Sasuke yet she had a closer relationship to Naruto than anyone else. She had been called (after many name changes) Kunai Tsuboki. The last girl in the trio was a happy bleach-blond with green eyes that were now peering at anything and everything. Her hair was also in pigtails, though much neater and cuter than Kunai’s. She matched Kunai’s height to a T, but had the tannest skin out of any OC I’d ever created. Her close consisted of a low-neck tank top and short skirt with boots. Kayla chuckled at the girl she’d named Sashami Hoshigaki. She had forgotten that Kisame’s last name was also ‘Hoshigaki’ at the time so she had unknowingly made them related somehow. All three girls were from Do Opposites Really Attract, however Kunai and Sashami had been in another story (long deleted) called, Back to Konoha. The three girls jumped into line.
“Good afternoon everyone!” Sorano shouted, waving the same way as Moku except unlike her, Sorano spewed charisma. “I’m Yamato Sorano-san! Nice to meetcha!” Miki stared at Sorano horror-stricken. Whoops… Kayla thought to herself. She’d forgotten the Sorano was a much different version of Miki, but they were otherwise a recreation of each other.
“Hey,” Kunai muttered, her nose still in her book. “I’m Kunai-san…”
“And I’m Hoshigaki Sashami-chan!” the blonde shouted, loud enough for the world to hear. Back stage, Kayla heard Kisame yelling about something probably because he’d just heard someone say his last name with someone else’s first name, but someone quieted him down. She wiped her brow; she would hear about this from him for the next few weeks.
The next to arrive was a smiling red-head with a notebook in her hands. Back stage, Kayla could hear the bickering begin between all of Akatsuki after seeing her appearance. The red-head’s icy-blue eyes scanned the ground and a devious smirk pulled at her pink lips. Her hair was cut short in the front and thrown up in a bun in the back. While one of her hands held a notebook, the other cuddled a white polar bear plush. A backpack was slung over her shoulders. She wore a black formal dress and black boots, which was completely unlike her. She usually wore a bright red shirt and short light jean shorts. Kayla raised an eyebrow at her and the young girl by the name of Aoi Namikaze grinned and waved. She was from a story called Pein’s Niece. Aoi stopped abruptly when she realized she was about to collide with Sashami. Aoi’s nose wrinkled in disgust, but quickly turned to the audience.
“I’m Namikaze Aoi-san!” she cheered, fist pumping the air. Back stage, Kayla heard Hidan scream, “I KNEW I f**kING RECOGNIZED HER!” However, then there was a loud boom and all was quiet. My characters turned around in confusion, but I motioned for Aoi to continue. “And I umm… like to pull pranks on people!” She laughed evil and the other girl’s stared at her in confusion except for Kunai who was still engulfed in her book.
While Kayla knew that anyone who’d read her stories would know at least Moku, Sashami, Kunai, Sorano, and Aoi (Miki is too new of a character and has not been introduced in a story yet), she wasn’t sure if anyone would know her older ones from years ago with her old account. The first of her lesser known characters to come out was a probably the oldest of the group presented – 16 – and had jet-black hair the flowed down to her mid-back. Her dull grey eyes stared forward and she held her apathetic composure. At first glance, she could have been the older form of Kunai, or at least her older sister. Her attire included a black camisole with fishnet sleeves and black cargo pants. Her shoes were a black version of the usual ninja shoes. Kayla shivered when the girl, Koko Subaki, passed her by. She had been from one of her oldest stories The Other Female Akatsuki. Not only did she appear intimidating, but Kayla knew that Koko would be the first to defy anything she said.
“I am Subaki Koko-san.” She stated, staring out at the crowd with a sense of emptiness. When she didn’t continue on, Kayla hesitantly motioned the next person out; afraid of whom she might see.
Kayla was relieved when she saw a bubbly blonde pop out of no where. She had short, choppy natural blond hair and blue eyes. She wore a white sunhat on her head and an orange flower print dress. Her feet were bare; however her toes were painted neon yellow that burned through Kayla’s eyes. At first, she couldn’t even begin to contemplate who this creation was but after a while she came to the sudden realization that it was Nami; a character created long before even Koko. She had been in a short story entitled Vampire Uchiha that Kayla had written after reading the book Twilight. Nami spun around in circles, allowing her dress to fly around her, and Kunai and Koko stared at her in disgust while Sashami began fuming. Luckily, none of them made any comments.
“I’m Nami-chan!” she squealed, waving to the crowd. “I’m one of Kayla-chan’s first characters created!” Kayla wished the fourteen year old would shut her mouth, but she restrained pummeling the poor blond.
Suddenly, Kayla heard screaming erupt from where everyone was supposed to enter. Two girls, who Kayla knew were most definitely were not from the same story, yelling at each other and pointing to the other one. The both looked almost like they could be twins; same hair color and style, same eye color, same skin tone… and the same name.
“I’m Mimi-chan!” one screamed, pointing to herself and glaring at the other. The other girl glared back.
“You’re a baka!” the other one yelled. “I’m Mimi-chan!” They both glared and bared their teeth at each other while Kayla finally decided to break up the fight. While the two did look the same, Kayla knew who was who. The original Mimi Uchiha was the first one, wearing a light yellow came and black shorts. She accompanied Kunai and Sashami in the story Back To Konoha. The remade Mimi Uchiha wore a dark blue dress and unlike the first who had her hair down, version two had her hair in a ponytail. This Mimi was from the story Wish.
“Come down you two!” Kayla chirped with a grin before replacing it with an evil glare. “Or I’ll send Itachi-kun in here and you’ll both suffer in under his Tsukuyomi.” Both girls froze and quickly ran off to stand next to the other girls. However, they continued to glared at each other like nothing had just happened between the three. Kayla sighed, but returned to her spot behind her desk. Then ten females that stood in front of her were the only characters she could remember making, though she knew there were more. It was strange seeing them all in one place and she couldn’t help but wonder what would happen once they got to get to know each other. Both Mimi’s, even though they are basically the same person, already hate each other and Miki is utterly confused about Sorano having the same last name. Kayla grinned and jumped in front of her desk.
“So here they are, folks!” Kayla shouted, pointing at Miki first and going down the line as she said their names. “Yamato Miki-san, Kotori Moku-san, Yamato Sorano-chan, Tsuboki Kunai-san, Hoshigaki Sashami-san, Namikaze Aoi-san, Subaki Koko-san, Nami-san, Uchiha Mimi-san number one, and Uchiha Mimi-san number two! These are the ten characters I could remember! The rest…” Kayla scratched the back of her head. “…Anyway! Now is your time to ask questions! You can ask them absolutely anything you want! Ask them all, ask only one! Also going to assist me is my friends Katie-senpai and Tomu-kun!” Two people walk out from behind the stage; a quiet looking brunette girl and a shy looking male with jet-black hair. Kayla ran up to them and embraced them in a warm hug.
“Hey Kayla-chan!” Katie smiled a soft grin and allowed her to hug her. Her hair was tied up into a high ponytail and she wore a black cut-off, sleeveless shirt with black pants and fingerless gloves. Black boots with brown ribbon that spun up her legs hugged her feet and her silver eyes shown under the terribly bright lighting. She was around the same age as Kayla, however due to her more relaxed and mature personality Kayla finds it more fitting to call Katie her senpai.
“Hi Kayla-chan!” Tomu shouted, grinning happily. He towered above both girls and stared down at them with his deep green eyes. His hair was in its usual messy style though Kayla believes it was more in place than Sasuke’s would ever be. Tomu’s attire included a navy muscle shirt and black shorts, but what was a truly notable feature were the tattoos of lion paws on his hands. Even though he was at least six years older than her, Kayla never thought of him as her senpai unlike Katie.
“Hi Katie-senpai! Hi Tomu-kun!” Kayla shouted, backing away from her friends. “Thank you so much for coming here to help me out!” She turned back to everyone with her most charismatic smile. “Now, since we have finally gotten all the introductions done, we’ll have a short break! When we get back, we’ll do questions and let the girls finally talk to each other!” Kayla placed her thumb and pointer finger in her mouth and blew; sending a loud whistle echoing through the building. A large curtain flew down with the word “Intermission” on it in big, bold characters. Just as this accord, the ten females scrambled around; yelling and screaming and acting utterly confused. Kisame even jumped in there and yelled, “WHOSE LAST NAME IS HOSHIGAKI?” which sent Sashami down for the count after Kunai pointed a long pale finger in her direction. Kayla sighed and rubbed her temples.
This was going to be a long, long day.
