Character Name:
Kazuyo Fujita
Gender:
Female
Appearance:
As a fifteen year-old girl, Kazuyo tends to dress slightly more formal than others; she dislikes not being able to look her best while fighting or training. Thanks to this mentality and fashion taste people tend to confuse her for either some kind of royalty or something along the line of this. And although her garments are made of higher quality cloths, they’re not considered royalty or anything special to her. So she doesn’t brag. Plus, she really could care less what becomes of them. If something were to happen, or if the garments get tattered, the tailor at the caravan could easily sew and fix it… or she could get whatever she wanted. As long as it’s comfortable, light weight, and easy to move around in: it’ll keep her content.
And even though it’s not very noticeable Kazuyo’s skin, which is almost never taken care of, is somewhat dry and lacks that feminine smoothness most girls have. Making it rough, and does not add a good feeling to the touch. While scratches, wounds and blotches cover her entire body; these ‘blotches’ which are mainly found around the leg and back area are either the burns or the remains of an old wound or scab. They retain a grayish color when they’re done forming and seem to alter her average to slightly colored skin. And after all the abuse her body has taken in, one would think her skin would heal quickly when it reality it takes months for her to heal completely. Leaving the poor girl without any appeal or attractiveness to others.
Her face is to some extent considered average, more or less. It is the only part of her body that’s noticeably clearer and healthier looking. It’s better taken care of, though a few scratches will appear every now and then. She’s quite tall, making her look skinnier than she normally is. And because of her very slim build the muscles on her arms are the most noticeable, giving a small hint to the fact that she does work out.
While long black hair that reaches the ground is something most women admire… but wouldn’t want to have anything to do with it. As it may seem beautiful from a distance, but up close it’s as much as a train wreck as Kazuyo herself. Chopped up, dry and slightly burned. It looks almost handmade, when in reality the harsh weather and sudden attacks have caused some of her hair to get either chopped off or burned off. It’s almost a miracle that it’s still this long. So she doesn’t hate it, but thinks that keeping it this way is a lot easier than having to take care of it. Because to her, it’s all just a waste of time.
Kazuyo may also have multiple appearances as she is known as the master of the transformation technique. But only one thing fails her at becoming truly a master are her godforsaken eyes that are almost completely covered by her messy, chopped up fringe. She thinks of them in a bad way. That’s because her eyes have a small black ring around the pupil, which usually gives away at the fact that it is actually her. Those black rings aren’t very noticeable when she’s transformed but, if looked over, it could spell the death of any person. That is the reason why Kazuyo tends to transform into people with darker eyes than hers. So that they won’t notice the difference.
She is, as I have explained, in a very horrible shape for a girl her age. And the only thing she seems to care actually care of is her clothes. But why would she care for that? She’s been asked that a million times and all those times she’s just ignored it. Maybe it makes her feel better? Or she just likes the attention of being recognized as something higher? Who knows…?
Village/Hometown:
Iwagakure no Sato // Land of Stone
Fighting Style:
Quick and well poised. Seeing her fight is almost like watching a dance. Her moves are flexible and almost considered graceful in a way. Everything lands and carries itself out as it is supposed to, even if she missed the target completely she can always gather herself up and start over. Even though her flexibility is something astonishing, that doesn’t mean she isn’t strong. She consists of usually pinning her opponent down or throwing them in the air where she then proceeds to perform more devastating attacks. There’s a variation to them so it won’t always result in the way one expects. It could be normal or more special depending whoever she’s fighting, she can go either way.
Kazuyo has been taught hand to hand so it’s no wonder that it’s usually her first approach. Though this can vary as well depending on the type of situation she can also use traps and such to her advantage. At times, she uses these traps to play with her opponent and see his/her weaknesses and strong points. She gathers information like this so she can know what she up against. From time to time she just enjoys having a good laugh and does things she can trip you or make you fall. And as skilled as she may be with hand to hand she won’t be afraid to use her spear or other types of weapons to attack. She uses her spear mainly for defensive purposes but occasionally mixes her flexibility for a combination between weapon and punches.
Weapons//Weapon’s Pouch:
Otegine – A spear ‘supposedly crafted’ by Kazuyo’s father, Osaru. The Japanese kanji written on on the rear end of the shaft (御手杵) give the spear the name of ’Otegine’ or Hand Mortar. It was stolen by Kazuyo and later on she found out that it was originally one of the three legendary spears of Iwagakure and thus its value is beyond belief. It is also said to hold great power within it, but Kazuyo doesn’t have the slightest clue…

In Kazuyo’s case, by channeling her chakra through her spear she is able to use her yellowy-orange colored ribbon to attack and aid her in battle.
Personality:
Arrogant and careless, she may at times seem to have the personality of a snob because she comes off as acting slightly superior to others or at least that’s what most of them say. When in reality she doesn’t care about anyone or anything. At least, she tries not to. She’s the type of person who as long as it’s a higher authority that’s when she’ll listen. She doesn’t care for having friends and considers most of people as, well, people. But that doesn’t mean she’s not afraid to stab a person in the back. She’ll seem calm from a distance but when you experience certain things along with her you’ll notice that her mind’s actually quite a mess. Either that or she’s a very bipolar girl. Maybe the different persona’s she’s had to take on as part of her transformation technique have finally gotten to her? Who knows…? Kazuyo’s also known to be quite rude and never have many manners around others. She treats everyone as an equal and tends to give her opinion on everything, whether asked for or not.
Age:
15 yrs old

N/A
Past Up Till Now:
Kazuyo was born to a poor family in Iwagakure no Sato. She’s the daughter of a blacksmith and a curry shop owner. And as soon she was born Kazuyo has been her parent’s pride and joy. She was that little accomplishment that made all their hard work to provide money and other necessities worthwhile. Her mother, Daiki, had to quit her job so that she could take fulltime care of her newborn daughter. Meaning her father had to work double just to make up for the loss of money. Of course, they were a struggling family, but in a way they felt blessed. They could see and be grateful over the smaller things in life unlike others. They were a very kind and hardworking couple, who would do anything for their child’s well being.
As soon as Kazuyo turned six a lesser known and not much talked about uncle gave her parents a visit. He promised them wealth beyond their beliefs only if they gave up their precious daughter to him. Osaru, Kazuyo’s father, was surprised to see his brother and even more surprised when he heard about the deal his brother wanted to make. You see, his brother was always the type of person no one could trust. He was a cold, arrogant man who never saw the light in anything. He had disappeared when Osaru was just a youngster and never heard from again… until now that is. He saw potential in his dear sibling’s daughter. He wanted to exploit it. Both parents obviously refused the offer and so he left peacefully, leaving behind a strange spear as a gift. Leaving Kazuyo’s parents baffled at his sudden reappearance. How did he know they had a child? And what was this “potential” he spoke so greatly of? Either way, they wanted to know nothing about it.
The spear Kazuyo’s uncle had given to them seemed very familiar to Osaru and in a few months he found out that the spear he had received was one of the three legendary spears of Iwagakure. He was surprised. What has his brother gotten himself into? How did he manage to find such a valuable possession? If anyone found out about it many would come to claim it any way possible. So he hid it hoping word wouldn’t get out.
Years passed and their daughter began developing into a beautiful young girl. She was highly overprotected by her parents and spoiled to no end. She was used to getting things how she wanted it, whenever she wanted it. This behavior began costing her a large number of friends. As if she cared. Her personality began to change over time as well: she became rude, arrogant and quite selfish. She wasn’t the sweet child they had raised. And at this point they began taking measures to see if things would change. This only made things worse: Kazuyo began running away from her house and coming back days later, she also started to misbehave and talk back to them. She didn’t like the life of a poor person anymore, she wanted something better. And by the time she was thirteen she had stolen the spear her father had hidden from everyone. He was angry, angry enough to throw his own child out of his house. Both parents had had enough of what by now was known as the “cursed child” of the family. She never brought anything but bad situations and they couldn’t keep going like this.
Kazuyo was more than happy to leave. Heck, she even left Iwagakure. She spent a few days running free until she encountered a caravan. It was lively and filled with people doing stunts and battling as if they were going to kill each other. Kazuyo was amazed. She had never seen anything like it. It wasn’t soon until the caravan’s leader took notice of her presence and quickly asked for a meeting with her. He seemed familiar: tall, and bared a dark demeanor. He recognized the spear Kazuyo had with her and soon enough knew who she was. He introduced himself, Gorou, or at least that’s what people called him. To her, he didn’t seem very reliable but on the other hand who was she to judge anyone? Plus, he gave her a new home. And over the years Kazuyo discovered what this caravan was really about. They got paid to carry out attacks, deliveries and stake out information on other countries. Thanks to these, she learned a thing or two about fighting and over the time she got accustomed to their lifestyle. The beautiful face and body her parents once knew had come to ruins, marked by war. Her body was getting stronger and faster by each passing day.
Her uncle seemed to have complete trust on his new little member. But even though he trusted Kazuyo, there was something that went completely unsaid… Something relating the caravan’s real existence and why he wanted Kazuyo by his side…
Family:
Osaru – A poor blacksmith that would’ve given up his life for his own daughter. He was gifted the Otegine by his brother and feared its power. Driving him to hide the legendary spear before anyone discovered it. He threw his daughter out of living in his house calling her “cursed” and never wanting to hear from her again.
Daiki – Kazuyo’s mother: a young woman who at the age of eighteen was already pregnant, quitting her job to take care of her baby. She was a kind woman who, when things got out of control, began to hate herself for everything that was happening.
Gorou(?) – Osaru’s brother and Kazuyo’s uncle. He’s dark and almost psychotic demeanor gives most the creeps. He’s feared and respected by everyone in his caravan. Not much is known about him except the fact that he only appears before those who are new… or those that seem to catch his eye.
RP Skills:
Kazuyo was bored. More bored than she had ever been in her life. It had been hours since they left the sandy dunes of Sunagakure and now she found herself lying on top of one of the caravan’s wagons. All these long hours of wait weren’t her exact idea of fun traveling but it sure beat having to walk. Plus she could enjoy a nice breeze every now and then. Turning to lay on her side she noticed the vast amounts of trees that were approaching her bigger-than-normal caravan. Konohagakure, perhaps? ‘Must be a boring place…’ It came to a stop, which made Kazuyo slightly curious. She sat up looking over the edges of the wooden transportation she now called home.
‘…huh?’
A load roar overtook the peaceful area in which they were situated. Sounds like the caravan’s priced pet lion had escaped… again. Kazuyo sighed. How many lion escapes and random panicking does it take for them to learn how to lock up a lion correctly? Geez, were they stupid. Calmly dragging herself to the edge she used her arms for impulse and jumped off it, landing perfectly on the ground. Hearing growling from a distance… plus the shouting of and screaming of a bunch of people, it must’ve gotten inside the village. She smiled, knowing how much destruction it was probably going to cause. Catching their little pet wasn’t an easy job, probably due to his size and nature… which wasn’t very friendly.
She headed for the gates leaving the caravan behind, they were empty. Not a guard to be found. It was a perfect time for an attack… too bad they were just there to analyze. To scope out every inch of the famous Konohagakure was their mission this time. Kazuyo was going to do her part, in her own pace. She passed the gates and soon enough she was inside. From the looks of it, people screaming and running, the madness has just begun.
