::The moon had just risen to the center of the night sky in Konoha. It was midnight. The air was brisk tonight, and the wind was blowing violently. The curtain covering the quaint little Ichiraku Ramen stand was whipping in the harsh breeze, letting shimmering light from the stand out into the street. In the lights emanating from the stand, there sat but one shadow at the bar. Irori's 6-foot figure was hunkered over a bowl of Ramen supplied by Teuchi. Irori slurped happily, having not eaten well in a fe months. His pipe sat to the right of his bowl, puffing smoke into the air. As he slurped noodles from his chopsticks, his mind wandered::
The Fifth Hokage, The Legendary Sucker and Slug Princess, Tsunade. It is said that she is among the greatest Medical Nin to exist. That is very impressive. She would HAVE to be impressive to be a Hokage, and a predecessor to the God of Shinobi and The Yellow Flash. Her strength is said to be the stuff of legends, too. She should be a great fight, and an honorable adversary.
::He slurped down an entire pile of noodles, and dug into the next chunk with a sigh::
I wish I could meet such impressive ninja under more acceptable conditions... especially beautiful ninja women...
::He chuckled to himself at the small fantasy of hitting it off with the world's greatest kunoichi::
Hm, maybe in other circumstances I could be worrying about making a good impression and looking nice. But, all I can realistically fantasize about, unfortunately, is combat with her... bestowing upon her the wrath of my fist and letting her know that I am her superior... so primitive...
::Irori had zoned out as he contemplated. He had learned upon listening to conversation on the streets during the day that The Hokage was currently out on a mission. Irori hoped to run into someone who would know where she was exactly, or if all else failed, he would wait till her return::

As night fell across the skies of Konohagakure, the temperature dropped considerably and the breeze that had been comfortable hours before had picked up into a violent wind. A girl just under sixteen strolled with her arms wrapped around her body; shivering and teeth chattering. She wore a loose long sleeved shirt and pants, but neither was thick enough to protect her from the frigid night air. Miki glanced around; she had no intention of going home to the hospital, not when she'd been only just awarded more freedom because her illness was cured for the most part.
Miki let out a whimper. "Why, oh, why is it so cold? How does Katie sleep on the roof when it's this chilly, ya know?" A pout formed on her bottom lip as she continued on through the dark dirt roads. Occasionally, she spotted a villager, but otherwise the town was quite barren and it unnerved the young blonde-brunette.
Out of the corner of her eye, Miki spotted the familiar ramen shop a few blocks in front of her and a grin decorated her pink lips. She should go buy some ramen! That'll make her warm and fuzzy again! Hurray! Ramen from Ichiraku's! Miki let out a noise resmembling a "squee" and skipped to the little ramen shop for a bite to eat. Upon arrival, she spotten another person siting inside eating some ramen and grinned.
Someone to talk to! Miki smiled at the thought and continued inside. She turned to face the person and completely froze; staring at the face of someone she least expected.
Miki's lips broke into a huge grin as she pointed to his face and said, "Irori-kun!"

::Irori had been lost in concentration. He was pondering his life till now, and the task he was about to carry out when he noticed a considerably smaller figure sit down next to him. He planned on ignoring the newcomer. He was glad that they seemed nonviolent, because if they hadn't, he may have been caught off guard. He was about to recollect his thoughts back on track, when the person beside him spoke::
::His eyes widened in surprise at the rather high-pitched and familiar voice that met his ears. His eyes shot towards the person and they were met by Miki's beaming face. He stared at her for a second, noodles hanging from his mouth and into the plate and eyes filled with confusion. He bit the noodles off and let them drop into the bowl and swallowed the rest::
She refers to me like a... friend? But I kidnapped her! I mean, I didn't hurt her, sure, but still! I would've thought she wouldn't be THIS happy to see me. I'm even surprised she still recognizes me...
::Through his slight confusion, Irori grinned. He was glad to see that she wasn't scared of him. He didn't have many friends in this point in his life, and Miki, to him, seemed like she could be a new Hara::
"Ah! Miss Miki! I honestly wasn't sure if we'd meet again! You seem to have grown!"
::Irori said as happily as his gruff, smoker's voice could sound. He was honestly kind of glad to see someone he could simply talk to, even in his desperate situation::

If it was possible, the grin on Miki's face grew after he responded. He had been right; much time has gone by since their last meeting and due to their opposing circumstances, meeting him again was quite unlikely. He hadn't changed much since the last time she'd seen him however there were a few minor differences. Before furthering their conversation, Miki spun to face Teuchi and waved him down to order a bowl of hot ramen. When she finished ordering, she faced Irori again with curious eyes.
"It has been awhile, hasn't it?" Miki pondered, staring out into space as if it held all of her answers. "And due to the circumstances, it's so funny seeing you again! It was a little weird at first since I was used to cleaning the house you and..."
She paused and her eyes went wide at remembering his accomplice, Hyoshi. While she held no fear or resentment to the man before her, Hyoshi positively frightened the young girl to the point of barely being able to say his name. Of course, if someone proclaimed they wished to kill you, it would be a bit unnerving to think about that person, right?
"Well, what have you been up to?" She now questioned, side-stepping the last thought that she left unfinished. Miki's eyes darted to the ramen bowl in front of her and beamed at it. Grabbing her chopsticks, she readied to begin slurping it down.

::Irori slurped absentmindedly on his ramen as he listened to Miki. He remembered her time spent at the hideout with Hyoshi and himself, realizing what caused her awkward silence. He laughed heartily as she finished her question. He didn't want to tell her EXACTLY what he had been up to, as it was a little personal for a Missing Nin to be sharing::
"Ahhhh, I haven't been up to much Miss Miki. I revisited my Village, got a sword..."
::He nodded his head over his shoulder towards Kazen, sheathed on his back::
"Same old, same old. What about you, Miss Miki? What are you doing on this dark, windy night? Out quite late, aren't you?"
::Irori slightly put the questions back on her. He didn't really want to tell her that he was here to defeat the Hokage, or about his past. He didn't know what kind of reaction he'd get, and he definitely didn't want to be forced to fight Miki. He seemed to have just made a friend and he didn't want to lose it that quickly. He picked up his pipe from the table and took a puff from it::

While listening to Irori contently, Miki began to devour her food. A few hours before, she had been in some hardcore training with Katie, Hinata, and Jarin; training to better her taijutsu and extend her knowledge in other areas using her weaponry. Of course, they didn't push her too hard in fear that it would overwork the young girl, but she'd been a little tired by the end of the day. She slurped up the last of the noodles and broth splattered across her face, causing her to automatically reach for the napkins. After wiping her mouth, Miki peered back at Irori.
"That sounds like it was fun!" Miki chirped, staring at his new sword. "Visiting your home and getting a sword! And what am I doing?" Miki paused and placed a finger on her lip, tapping it lightly. "Well, Katie-senpai - remember her? - and my new friends Hinata-chan and Jarin-san wer teaching me taijutsu and stuff like that a while ago but then they had to go home so I was venturing around town! Konoha is really big, ya know?"
Miki spun around in her chair and stared off into the distance; allowing the wind to caress her hair. It was sticking her head in front of an air conditioner. Miki closed her eyes momentarily; focusing on everything, yet nothing at all.
