Character Name: Xue Miu
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Miu is just another commoner, perhaps in the less attractive category, although not due to her looks, which aren't exactly ugly- they're just not exactly what most guys would look for in a girl. Her build is bit thinner than most (for a girl her age, at least)- she made it a habit to do body building exercises, although it seems to do no good. Long arms used to help her in her swimming exercises whereas they now become even more helpful as she helps her father in their auto shop.
Covered in scratches and cuts, people would always assume she's been getting into fights- which she is, half of the time. The other half, she's getting those injuries in the shop- a rather dangerous environment full of tools and such used for whatever they might have been working on at the time. There was a time in which her father was handing her something, and with his loose grip- it slipped, landing on her left cheek. It left a small but noticeable scar just beneath her eye, one of those kinds one would get from a knife fight.
Even with all of this, she is a teenage girl, and she does spend quite some time worrying over her appearance. Her hair is as silky smooth as it gets, and her eyelashes as long as any models. Most don't notice this due to her other features, which stand out a bit more compared to other girls her age. Unfortunately- at least in her eyes- she can't wear makeup due to her irritable skin. She finds it rather odd that her skin reacts to makeup and washes in such ways, where as it does nothing when she gets grease and oil all over herself. At least her skin remains soft, smooth and clear- because it has not been corrupted by modern day cosmetics.
Height: 5'6''
Weight: 127 lbs
Eye Color: Obsidian
Hair Color: Light brown
Skin Color: Cream
Body Build: Slim
Village: Mist
Fighting Style:
Taijutsu, quick and precise. So long as she has the advantage, she tends to make the battles quick, short, and to the point. No use in prolonging her opponent's inevitable defeat, after all. On the other hand, should she encounter someone who can put up an actual fight -this would cause her the most profound ecstasy- then she'd likely take it easy for a while, so that she could enjoy the battle to its fullest. Given she has the time, of course.
Normally she would aim for nothing in particular- simply bruising and injuring the enemy in multiple places, just attempting to wear them down. However, when she's put in a tight spot, she aims for the more sensitive areas; joints, and softer flesh that could easily be torn. By hitting the same places consecutively, she could potentially create one of the most painful injuries that her enemy at the time had ever known. Sometimes even to the point where they pass out. This feat makes her ideal for the interrogation squad of ANBU's forces- seeing as she knows how to pick her opponent off piece by piece.
Weapons:
- Kusarigama
Jutsu's: (If Miu isn't high enough rank for any jutsu in particular, then these are here for future reference.)
(Custom)
D Rank:
!Name: Chikarako (Passive)
Type: Taijutsu
Hand Seals: --
Element: Wind
Description:
This attack in particular takes very little control of the wind element. Taking the user's small and brittle looking physique in mind- this jutsu helps increase the power behind each attack. A simple attack nonetheless; he or she positions his or her body in a way that completely annihilates any air resistance- until striking with the non-dominant hand, with the chakra focused towards each hand. It is a feint however, although the opponent wouldn't know that. Using the slipstream created by the first attack, the dominant hand follows through in a swift and precise manner: effectively obliterating any wind resistance, therefore increasing the damage caused; the power behind the attack had not been lessened in any manner.
This is Miu's standard attack; it's her own fighting technique- and she's careful to make sure that no one else can copy her style.
C Rank:
!Name: Fujinko
Type: Ninjutsu
Hand Seals: Tori, Hitsuji, Mi.
Element: Wind
Description:
With a few hand seals and manipulation of bodily chakra, the user of this jutsu can freely control the air around them- although the range is incredibly limited. The sudden burst of chakra flowing throughout the user causes an intensity; the intensity creates a field of force around him or her which repels weaker attacks altogether, as well as increases speed. This concept would more easily be understood with the idea of manipulating gravity and surface area; an example, walking on water.
It's generally more of a boost, rather than an attack- although this jutsu in particular makes the user's taijutsu much more dangerous due to the increase of speed and raw power behind each strike. Another obvious bonus that comes with this feat is the decrease in opponents' power- at least in regards to taijutsu. It lessens the impact of each blow taken- if any had been taken at all. This skill, either way, does a good job in displaying Miu's talents; her title would seem well earned as she flies through the air at an incredible speed, preparing to strike. Summarized- this jutsu increases her speed, strength, and her overall Taijutsu capabilities.
!Name: Mizukaori
Type: Taijutsu
Hand Seals: --
Element: Water
Description:
Perhaps it would be considered something of a carbon copy. It is Chikarako's counterpart; Miu alternates between the two constantly so as to keep her opponents' on their feet. She only does this when she is hydrated however, seeing as she could quickly feel the side effects of not having enough water. Using them moisture in her body- she forces it out of the palms of her hands as she strikes- using her chakra, of course.
While the wetness of her attacks might be disorienting to some- that was not the real threat. Using the chakra that pulses wildly throughout her body, she forces her bodily heat into the water, as well as a considerable amount of chakra, causing it to boil As such, her hands are constantly bandaged due to the frequent contact with boiling water- but as a result, several of her foes have burns all over their bodies- a reminder of their fight with her.
B Rank:
!Name: Kirie
Type: Taijutsu
Hand Seals: --
Element: Wind
Description:
The name Miu fondly gave this technique comes from the art of cutting; which this revolves around entirely. With her knowledge and ability- cutting through air and manipulating it didn't prove much of a challenge. Her body was slim, small- but that would only edge her on into performing abnormal feats such as this.
First, the user forces a considerable amount of chakra into the area before her. In that time, he or she makes a pushing motion with their hands- essentially creating a whirlwind of chakra, aimed in whatever direction it had been pushed towards. This 'cloud' of energy can be manipulated to change shapes, although Miu hardly cares to do any aesthetics in regards to her fighting.
Alternate use (1): A defensive technique; It is similar to Fujinko, although it acts more like an area attack more than anything. Rather than creating a thin shield of wind around the user- it creates a large barrier, fending off much larger and stronger foes or objects. Unfortunately, Miu has yet to perfect this technique in such a way that it could be used for extended periods of time- and as such, it's does not make much of a defensive technique- unless fighting only one or two opponents. Miu plans on perfecting it over the next few months...
Personality:
Brash, bold, and somewhat masculine, she's known to be a trouble maker. The girl delights in both creating things, as well as destroying them; much like a teenager of the opposite gender. Some might call her butch- despite the fact that she isn't a lesbian, but whoever does is usually later found lying unconscious on the street somewhere. Yes, she's violent, and tends to be unforgiving. With people that she's familiar with, she's easy going, and carefree- with strangers, she gives the cold shoulder- making it rather hard for her to make any trustworthy friends.
Despite her bitch attitude, she's easily entertained, and anyone who manages to make her laugh immediately earns a gold star in her mental sticker book. Getting enough of those means getting no trouble on her part. At the moment, the only person who's on her good side, is her father- the one who taught her nearly everything she knew, including how to fight. A bit more feminine than believable, but Miu is an animal lover, and this mainly includes anything fluffy. It would seem out of character -even to herself- for her to have stuffed animals in her dark and gloomy room, so she avoids such things. Even so, anything animal related- that's another thing that would earn a gold sticker.
Towards friends, she loyal. Kind of like an old dog, those whom she had spent much time with; she'll stick to them, despite everything. Towards strangers, however... She would be considered heartless. Uncaring for their well being, others should be wary while in her presence, unless of course they are rather confident in their own abilities. In other words, it's not that she's evil- it's simply the fact that she's indifferent, and makes no effort to improve the well being of others- specifically strangers.
Age: 17
Rank: ANBU
Fears:
- Frailty
- Ladybugs
History:
Due to her often feared nature, Miu was usually the subject of bullying in her younger years, only causing her to be even colder towards others in the years to come. As such, she has few to no friends, and has trouble trusting people. This started her fighting streak- and her reputation as a bully. Xue knew of his daughter's behavior, and quickly attempted to provide a remedy; he brought his daughter into the shop as an assistant, and had her work there in her time off, instead of her going off and doing her own thing.
Yes, her father owned a pretty unknown workshop- it hardly ever had customers; so it could easily be said that she and her single father lived a life of the poor. Anyway- the child and her father worked together pretty much every day- fixing things here and there. Sometimes he would take her out to spar, simply because it was fun... Or perhaps because he felt that she had been cooped up inside for far too long. Either way, Miu built a considerable amount of muscle- and as soon as he realized that- he knew she would be perfect material.
He began to train her, and her personality soon made itself clear. No, she wasn't evil- she was simply indifferent for one, and the other; she was on a conquest for power. It's not that she would use it for immoral reasons, although her path could lead in an entirely different direction that what she might have thought... The teen wanted more; that was all she knew. In the mean time, she would hone her skills- hoping that perhaps one day, she would meet someone to test them on. A battle worthy of legends; that was her dream.
As such, she trained with that goal in mind- desperately. At Genin, she was just another child- making pathetic and feeble attempts to gain the ranks into the shinobi world. Her arms and legs were covered in cuts and bruises constantly, as a result of her seemingly endless training. Her mind would nearly break; that's how hard she was working towards her goals- although it wouldn't exactly be obvious on the outside. She looked a normal preteen girl, one whose asperations were just a tad bit larger than her peers'.
Finally, finally, she got her hands on the title of Chuunin. Just barely though, passing the test with below average scores. Hell, her power came from her physical strength and prowess- not her vast vocabulary. Either way, her training would increase tenfold; the taste of success would be an addiction to the teen- and she would crave more and more as time went on. As such, she desired nothing more than to find a dedicated training partner. However, in her time as a Genin, she developed a certain... Reputation. Her dominating and completely stubborn nature provided her with something of a unflattering nickname; La Bête Noire.
It translated directly to- "The Black Beast." It was also a phrase that described something that was generally unwanted... Her. Her efforts were all in vain; there was absolutely no one who would be willing to work with her- she was horrible! As time went on, she eventually mellowed out, calmed down... She made a few friends here and there, although training was her main priority. Eventually she climbed the ranks yet again, and despite not being who she once was- she decided to keep her nickname as her ANBU codename. It would strike fear into the hearts of those she fought against, and perhaps draw out even greater foes...
And so, here she is.

"The breeze slight, yet the heat sweltering: a thin layer of sweat had accumulated onto the teen's face, her normally pale cheeks reddening beneath the summer day's sun. A huff; the heels of her shoes collide against the concrete, her legs moving in forceful strokes as she attempts to escape the beams of light that seemed to be affecting her sensitive skin at a rapid pace. The smell of tobacco in the air would leave her content, yet disappointed in her own lack of ability to cope with her desires. After all, the very scent caused her a craving: a craving for something that she had been avoiding for a total of half a year; said total was something she was proud of. Automobiles pass by, the loud noises of the city ringing in her ears... As a less pleasant scent would find it's way into her sensitive nostrils, causing her eyes to narrow in slight irritation.
"g**d**n sun..." The girl would mutter, as she struggles to drag her bags into the building, with the lack of assistance from the doormen outside. Sighing, she collapses onto one of the lobbies couches, sinking into it's soft cushioning comfortably. The air conditioning would cool her off quickly, causing her to shiver slightly as the sweat that had once been an attempt to cool her off, only became something of a hindrance. Now as she became more relaxed, her expectations rose, and the fabric of the seating was suddenly more so rough than she once felt; the contact between said fabric and flesh would cause her to shudder. Long porcelain legs stretch- the blood red silk of her dress clinging tightly...
As her eyes take in her environment lazily, she grimaces slightly, disgusted to a certain degree by the lack of tact in terms of interior design. Certainly, she had been here before -and she had no issue with the place she would be staying in- it was simply the lobby that caused her nausea. The wallpaper was of a beige hue, blended slightly with a sickening olive tone; perhaps sickening being somewhat of an understatement. Frail looking fingers clench onto the handles of each bag- and her brows furrow- muscles tightening as she lifts them along with their heavy contents. Taking them to the front desk, she would wait impatiently for what seemed an entire minute -when truly it had only been a few seconds. A few words here and there; she acquired her room key and quickly whipped around.
Intriguing, really... Despite the situation, the entire building seemed to be void of life; an apparent absence of people caused her slight paranoia, and her eyes darted from side to side as she walked towards the elevator. While the elevator was supposed to be quiet, the longer she spent without any signs of human life, the more uncomfortable she would be; perhaps it was simply instinctive, or perhaps it was due to her own father's teachings. The quiet was a sign that something could go horribly wrong- or already has- and as her father says... 'Things that can go wrong, will go wrong'. Yes, she knew full well he wasn't the one who first came up with it- but she knew his own ego has blinded him into believing in such.
The elevator comes to a stop, and her chin lifts itself slightly in anticipation. Stepping into the hallway, she steps with quick precise movements, as she reassures herself that nothing within the building was amiss. A door, tall and strong stands before her; almost daring her to enter. Her pale fingers delve into the depths of her stylish purse, and brush against a metallic surface... A key: to the penthouse. Shoving it into the keyhole, she sighs, and pushes it open with a bit of effort. Before even bothering to take a look inside, she rushes inside, immediately tosses her luggage every which way, and slams the door behind her. A huff; "...I hate this city."
