::Irori had finally made it away from the shack. He was about to return to the Dojo, but he had something to do first. He needed to head out to Kiri once more. It was dire that he found something. However, he still found himself unable to find his way out of The Fire Country. Having stopped in a small town outside the Hidden Village, he was looking for food and shelter. It was getting late and the sun was setting, so it looked like he'd be stuck in this small town for the night. He had decided to go and rest on a nearby cliffside, overlooking the small town and getting a good view of the sunset. He now had a new robe tossed over his shoulders, replacing the one destroyed in his battle with Katie. He took a long hit from his pipe, removed it, then exhaled slowly, mulling things over. He had lost a fight for the first time the night before. Never had he been beaten fairly. He had lost a couple of times before, but it was always a battle in which he was disadvantaged or ganged on. This fight wasn't completely fair, but close. he did have far less chakra. He stared off into the sun as it went down, pondering::
"The sun always helped me think, we never saw it much in Kiri."
::He said aloud, for no real reason other than to hear his own voice for the first time all day::

Yumiko and her little furry friend, chiko, silently snuck after a stranger. They were both hungry, and were both after whatever money this man might have. They were only just behind the man, with Yumis fingers reaching, when the ferret suddenly was under her foot. Yumiko let out a small squeak and toppled backwards to avoid stepping on the creature. Unfortunately she landed non to soft.
"Oops...," The ferret said as they both shuffled back from the stranger.
Once a few steps back she smiled innocently, wondering how the stranger would react or if he would catch on. Not that she had gotten close enough to find anything anyhow. Stupid ferret. "Hi!" She said.

Kokoro watched blondish-haired kunoichi stalking after the red-headed stranger with narrowed eyes. She couldn't tell who they were and what they were up to so she kept her place high in the tree's canopy. Her fingers graze a paper bomb that she had in a bag; deciding on whether or not to cause some destruction to the unsuspecting fellows. She breathed out a sigh before tracing her fingers over the bark of the tree.
"This is pointless," she murmured bitterly as she watched the blondie tumble down into the bushes below her tree. Kokoro's attention turned back to the red-haired man as she tried to determine who these people. Her fingers once again returned to the explosive tag as she played through different scenarios in her head.

::Irori coughed a little bit, choking on his smoke upon hearing the tumbling noise behind him. He beat his fist twice against his chest, before clenching the pipe back in his teeth. He hadn't been paying any attention, lost in though. He turned to look over his shoulder at the girl, not turning his full body away from the twilight sun. He scanned her up and down. She seemed pretty harmless, and the most dangerous thing about her was that she appeared to have befriended a rodent. He looked dead at her, thinking she said something. He was intrigued. Just a regular pick-pocket, or what::
"Do you need something, miss?"
::He asked nonchalantly, only slightly irritated that she had derailed his train of thought. He brought his legs up from where they were dangling over the edge of the cliff, and crossed them, allowing his slashed-out Kiri headband to be seen by anyone who wanted to see it.

Yumiko laughed nervously. "Oh no no....I was just.....checking out the view from here," It was not a very good lie but she went with it. "I was looking at it and never saw you there."
Then her eyes saw the headband and she laughed nervously again. She was about to steal from a rouge ninja? How stupid was she! She never stole from ninja! Not when they were awake or sober anyways.
The ferret blinked at the man before putting on an act of smelling around the area. He was trying to act as ferret like as possible. Abruptly he caught scent of someone close by but chose to ignore it. He was too in character to care.

Kokoro eyes widened when she noticed the slash through red-haired man's Kiri headband before once again resuming her narrow eyed look. He shouldn't come after another missing ninja but Kokoro didn't trust them at all. Even the little rodent alongside the blondie was conspicious, no doubt. In a quick motion, she flicked an explosive tag at the tree and to her relief it stuck.
"Just in case," she muttered, glaring down at the rogue ninja and suspicious blondie and hearing bits in pieces of their conversation. She stood up a little before resuming her crouched position, balancing on the tips of her toes.

::Irori smiled at the girl's words. They were so obviously a lie, it was almost funny, but then, now being back on his game, he sensed another chakra around the area. He smirked through his clenched teeth at her, puffing on his pipe::
"Ah, you know, it's hard to believe that you could not possibly see a six foot tall man like myself sitting here. Besides, it's clear to see you've brought back up."
::He spoke rather mellowly and politely once more, not feeling particularly threatened by the girl, but still curious what she wanted. He was referring to the extra chakra he felt when he spoke of back-up::

"Back up?" Yumiko blinked at the man and tilted her head. "You mean the ferret?" She pointed back at the ferret as he nibbled at some grass. Did Chiko think wild ferrets were vegetarians? Stupid creature.
It was clear that the man was not believing her story, but back up? Did he think she was more than what she said she was and was bluffing? Or maybe he was insane and saw people who were not there. Yes, she would go with that for now.
"I always have my head in the clouds." She continued with her lie. "You could be a giant and I would probably walk past you."

Kokoro's eyes went wide. She was spotted, or at least her presence was noticed. Without missing a beat, she did a quick handsign and was off running before the explosive tag could detonate. She growled curses as she jumped through tree and run through the dark forest.
"Damn it," she growled, continuing on for a little while longer before she grabbed onto a low branch and swung herself up into the tree; a few meters off the ground. She looked back at where she'd come to see smoke arising from the impact the tree must have made upon hitting the ground. She sighed in relief, leaning against the cool bark of the tree.

::As Irori was beginning to listen to the girl's more than likely bogus tale, it was interrupted by an explosion. Irori, jumped back away from it about 10 feet and watched as it fell. He saw some branches move and rustle, and followed them with his eyes, making a mental image of the path of the rustling before it stopped. He leaped to his feet, then off into the trees, chasing after who-ever was the attacker, now disregarding the girl, assuming her to have been a distraction. He would eventually land on the ground under where he felt a chakra presence. He simply waited. He was never the type to be aggressive. He was simply curious of why he was being assaulted::

Suddenly the tree exploded and Yumiko caught sight of a girl running off. "HEY! WHAT DID THE TREE DO TO YOU?" Yumiko yelled after the girl while shaking her fist.
Chiko swore as branches landed all around him. He jumped out of the way of some, then ran and hid in Yumiko's hood.
"Watch your language." She lectured as the man ran past without giving her so much as a look.
"Heeyy." Yumiko calmly got up and started skipping after them but it was not long until they were both out of sight. Yumiko slumped on a log. "I wanted to see a fight."

Kokoro slowly shrank down on the branch and focused on everything around. For awhile she couldn't sence any chakra, but soon she felt a presence near her; below her somewhere. Her eyes shot open as she scanned the ground but there were too many braches and leaves in her way. She cursed to herself.
"Damn it," I growled standing up. "His found my location here too." Glaring at the ground, she crouched down again and waited for him to find her. She couldn't afford to use another explosive tag; she was limited on those. With another look on the ground, she relaxed and waited for the her expected fate.

Itachi appeared on the cliff after hearing the commotion. He noticed Irori darting off into the trees and Yumi attempt to follow them. He figured that the area would be clear for a while while he rested.
Itachi took off his cloak and sat down on the side of the cliff while rummaging through his belongings. He pulled out his kunai and began wiping away blood that was on it. He had just finished clearing out a small battalion of a ninja gang that attempting to collect the bounty on Itachi's head. He then began wrapping a cut on his arm where one of the thugs managed to land the only hit on him.

::Irori crossed his legs and sat in the grass, he took a few hits from his pipe, then proceeded to close his eyes. Well, she'll come out if she wants... He began to meditate on his thoughts again, however he made sure not to get to lost in his own thoughts, semi-expecting the attacker to show themselves if they saw that he let his guard down::

Kokoro waited a few more minutes before she stood up again and peered over the branch. Becoming impatient, she jumped up a few more branches and headed to a new tree to look through a different perspective. Her eyes fell upon red hair and she knew it to be the same man from before.
"He doesn't seem up to a fight," I mumbled, watching the man sit there with his back to me. Groaning, I leapt out of my spot and skidded to a stop behind the man with my arms crossed. I narrowed my eyes at his peaceful countenance and said nothing.
