Miki laughed and nodded. She didn't mind cleaning even though it did get a little boring after awhile, but he was going to feed her so it seemed like a fair deal for her. She looked out the nearest window toward where she guessed was Konoha. Miki started wondering what Chicho-san, Katie-senpai, and Kibaku-senpai were all doing and she became a little homesick sitting there.
She almost did hear Irori's question but she mananged to say, "Hot please."
Chicho-san, please don't be worrying about me... Miki thought, looking out into the distance. She hoped maybe Katie or someone would lie and say she slept over their house. She didn't even want to imagine what would happen if she found out Miki was kidnapped by two missing nin and threatened to be killed by a very scary one and eating noodles and curry with a much nicer one.
::Irori poured the last of their hot curry on the other bowl by her answer. He got a small fires started and put the two bowls on it. While he waited for those to cook, he'd decided he'd refill his pipe. He went back to the cabinet and pulled out a small bag of tobacco and noticed that there was only one pack of cigarettes left for Hyoshi. He tapped some tobacco out into the bowl of his pipe as he droned, attempting to make conversation::
"How many days do you think it'll be till those friends of yours meet me for my challenge? I'm really excited to meet them in battle..."
"Miss Katie seemed like she'd take a few days, but that other guy who came after Hyoshi left with you... he didn't seem tired..."

Miki sat patiently watching the man tap tobaco into the pipe. She waited a few seconds before answering.
"Dunno," she said. "Katie and Kibaku usually regain most of their stamina by the next day. Kibaku for sure; even whe he's weakened he can usually fly Katie to my hospital window. And I'm on the sixth floor too!" She thought for a moment. "I think Katie may rest a little longer than Kibaku but I'm sure after a day or so she'll be ready to fight. She's really strong."
Miki thought about how strong her friends were in comparison to herself. It was a little embaressing about how little she could do, but she must be doing something right if they could overlook such disabilities.
::Irori avidly listened. He was getting excited about all the hype::
"You have a lot of friends. You must be a nice girl..."
"I hope they are strong! I will be quite disappointed if they're not..."
::His face turned grim at the thought of these opponents possibly being a waste of time. He turned to get the cooked ramens out of the fire place and grabbed a long wooden sthingy that he began to stir with::

She laughed at his first statement.
"Not really," she said. "Well, I mean I think I'm nice but I don't have many friends. I'm not really friends with anyone who was in the academy with me; just whoever I meet! I like having friends.."
She paused a moment to think. "Katie trains every day; that's for sure. She trains until she nearly dead on the ground. And I'm not sure about Kibaku because he isn't from around here. But I think they'd be fun to battle with, I'm sure!" She grinned but her stomach growled suddenly and that made her glare at her tummy. It needed to stop doing that; it'd get its food soon.

Miki laughed as she watched him shove the food in his mouth. She did the same but in a more...feminine mannor? (I don't know what word I'm looking for right now XD) She hadn't realized just how hungry she was until she looked down at her plate to see it empty. She scrunched her eyebrows together; how fast had she eaten the food? There was a whole plate there a minute ago! Trying to disregard that, she turned to look somewhere completely unrelated to food.
"A thingy ass?" Miki said to herself, chuckling a little. "That sounds silly!"
She laughed a little more before yawning. Food made Miki sleepy especially a full plate of food that she'd unknowingly shoved down her throat.
"I'll clean..." she murmured. "Tomorrow... Imma little.. tired now..." She stretched out her arms and curled into a ball on the chair and face the window; looking into the darkening horizon.
::Irori smiled as Hyoshi left and Miki curled up. Hyoshi's words intrigued him. Uchiha... Aren't they all supposed to be dead? I heard they were massacred by one of their own... but that wasn't his name was it? Uchiha Itachi... Itachi is a pretty kanji... it'll look good on my arm... He continued to eat his ramen, as he was going much slower than Miki was. He was thinking that at this rate he would end up with the whole village wanting to battle him. He liked that, but he just hoped that they were all as strong as he'd hoped. He also hoped that there were still more opponents out there to fight. He figured he'd have his first challenger by tomorrow night, so he'd probably turn in early tonight::
"Hey, Miss Miki, you still awake over there?"
::He asked as he put his fork down in his now empty plate::

Miki's eyes shot open and she sat up quickly, peering around everywhere. Had she fallen asleep? Pausing for a moment, she looked at Irori. He'd just asked her something, but she hadn't caught the question.
"Are you fighting anyone today?" Miki questioned instead of trying to answer whatever he'd said to her. "Because if you are, I'm coming too! I want to see everyone fight so I can cheer people on!"
She thought for a second before grimacing. She added, "But I'm not going to be put near Hyoshi-san because he's mean and wants to kill me!" She stood up tall and stared at the man in front of her.
::Irori laughed. It seemed everyone was afraid of Hyoshi. If only they had seen me fight yet... I might lose some friends... haha... He thought to himself. He shrugged it off and answered her question::
"Hopefully! I'll go to Ichiraku tonight at midnight, maybe some one will be there..."
::He said as his voice trailed off, now thinking about the Uchiha. I hope Hyoshi didn't make a COMPLETE enemy of him. Some one like him could be useful for a little bit more than just a fight if what Hyoshi said was true, and if what the man told Hyoshi was true. Uchiha... Akahamre Katie, the armored fighter... if they were all good enough to be considered, that would bring me up to 5 out of 12 signatures... Irori zoned back in and answered her second question::
"But, I'll have to bring you with me every night so that they can see that your 'life is on the line,' so you will indeed get to watch your friends fight for you."

Miki laughed; grinning at the man. His statement was true; if he didn't bring her, they'd probably think she was dead or that she was no longer with them. If they had her with them though, they could could pretend she was in danger. Shivering, she thought about Hyoshi's statement to her last night about if he had the chance, she'd already be dead. Miki couldn't bring herself to forget that.
"Irori-san," Miki said, still shivering in fear. "Trust me when I say that even now I'm scared for my life. It's not the most comforting feeling knowing someone wants you killed. Especially when they're under the same roof."
She laughed uneasily, keeping alert. Being morning, she was sure Hyoshi would be here with them at some point and that was one of the most petrifying thoughts that has ever run through her mind.
::Irori chuckled as he inhaled from his pipe. He let the smoke out with his following words::
"Cleaning supplies? We don't have any of those, sadly. All of our money and thieving skills goes to the three necessities!"
::He pointed to the empty curry bag and the near-empty noodle bag::
::He pointed to his robe, hanging over the chair::
::Finally he pointed to the cabinet that was ajar to barely show the small bag of tobacco and the remaining pack of cigarettes::
"And our 'medicine'. We never actually went to the trouble to get any cleaning supplies or anything..."
::He trailed off as he picked up his robe and walked across the room. He pulled out a small bag, and proceeded to pull some explosive tags out of it. He began to line the inside of his robe with them::
